Simple Celebrations :: Our Lady of the Rosary
My girls put together this decoration/treat for today's feast day all by themselves. These are candy roses {affiliate link} made from both white and dark chocolate. The cross {affiliate link} was made with a mixture of both to give it a lighter color. The centerpiece of the rosary is a little blue flower in honor of our lady. Sunshine offered her lovely Our Lady Help of Christians statue for the middle and cut some roses from our bush outside. I love my big girls!

How lovely! We read the story of Lepanto together but didn't get around to making the Rosary cupcakes - such a great idea. I love your chocolates, that is something I"d like to do. So much smaller than all those cupcakes! Thank you for the nice comments you left on my blog. Your right, those are not Kolaches, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI do, too! Love your big girls, that is. Please tell them that their chocolate rosary was lovely. Also, Our Lady Help of Christians is May 24th, right? A shared birthday!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! That was a gift to her on her Baptism. I've not seen it in that size again but I bet your little guy would like the smaller size when he gets older.
DeleteA lovely celebration! (and like mother, like daughter! hooray for big girls!)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you again for all of the wonderful coloring pages! My little girls have been enjoying many of them with all the feasts lately.
They did a beautiful job!
