I think with the number of girlie blankets I've made recently, I might have to amend my statement. Baby girl blankets are on the rise! Now, someone said she wanted to be surprised with the blanket she won so I'm not saying who these are for, just know that they are all Cupcake tested and approved!

Oh, my goodness! Cupcake is so darling! I love the fabric you chose, Charlotte. Especially the Pinkalicious. Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! I love them all. They turned out so pretty!! They are almost as cute as Cupcake, but not quite! :)
ReplyDeleteI would never be able to choose a favorite one, lovely.
ReplyDeletePlease send the baby along with the blanket.
ReplyDeleteWe'll take good care of her, I promise!
:)
Blanket is in the mail. Baby is right here! But she sent love and kisses with the blanket and I tried to make her rub off some good sleep vibes, too!
DeleteThe pinky blue birds fabric is beautiful! Your quiltie tutorial from not too long ago was enough to convince me that I could give it a try. Unfortunately we forgot a pacifier for the baby when we went to the craft store and an unhappy baby left me with no time to look for bandanas. I was too stubborn to give up and decided to use the fabric I had on hand to make a little quilt instead. Thank you so much for doing that tutorial and showing me that the project wasn't as intimidating as I expected it to be.
ReplyDeleteOH, I love them all too!! Cupcake is darling!!
ReplyDeleteOh the face! She is just too precious. Oh, the blankets are nice too. LOL
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
The adorable baby seriously upped the cuteness quotient of those blankets. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou have such an eye for color! But I must say, Cupcake is cuter than those very cute blankets!! I will be using one of your drawings (Our Lady of Lourdes) for a craft with my first graders tomorrow as we celebrate the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes. I linked it back to you here: http://rosarymom.blogspot.com/2012/02/our-lady-of-lourdes.html
ReplyDeleteThank your for blessing us with your lovely talents!
She is one seriously cut baby. How on earth can you tear yourself away long enough to sew?
ReplyDeleteAdorable, adorable adorable! (The quilties are cute too!)
ReplyDelete~C.
Those are just darling. And that is one totally adorable baby girl :)
ReplyDeleteI want one! (blanket, not baby, thanks)
ReplyDeleteCharlotte,
ReplyDeleteWhere do you get your bandanas and where do you like to shop for fabric? We don't seem to have too many fabric buying options around here.
We are thinking that our upcoming baby must have one of these :).
Thanks!
Rachel
Hobby Lobby is my closest craft store with a fabric section. They also carry a decent supply of bandanas in different colors.
DeleteCharlotte- your fabric matches your bandanas fabulously! Which do you select first - fabric or bandanas - to get them to coordinate so well? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI usually pick a few backing fabrics and then take them over to the bandana section to see what matches best.
