Isn't she lovely?

Even if she's a bit lopsided right now. She needs another leg. I need more yarn!
BTW... hair made her head much less creepy.

  1. She's adorable. It cute crafts like this that make me sad that I never learned how to successfully knit or crochet.

  2. I feel as though I should explain about the hair. I know blue is an odd choice for a dolly, but my two older girls have dolls that I've made for them. One has purple yarn hair and the other has bright red. When we went shopping for yarn, they decided this blue was perfect and would fit right in with the crazy color scheme already in play.

  3. I love the blue hair!

Charlotte would a newbie to crochet and knitting be able to pull this off?

  4. Elizabeth C.,
The stitches were not hard, mostly single crochets. I had to look up a treble crochet because I hadn't used that stitch in a while and had forgotten how to do it. The hardest part is reading and following the pattern. If you have never done that, it might be beyond your skills right now unless you have someone who could help you figure it out.

  5. Love her! She is so cute!! I really need to try my hand at making one of these. I know my girls, yes, even the 12 yr. old, would love it. :)
