Good Shepherd Garden Party :: Week Two

On Saturday, before I had bouquets of cupcakes sitting in my fridge, we celebrated our second Good Shepherd Garden Party. This week was one of the easiest ones but we still cut down on some things for the sake of just getting everything done.

~ The Table and Chairs~
In the Bible passage for the chair, the last verse says, "Then he took curds, and milk, and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree while they ate.” I wanted to get some cheese curds, but settled for cheese cubes instead. We called them curds.
We finally got our Easter candle made!

Or more bread and fruit (tomatoes) as the kids pointed out.

  1. Everything looks great, Charlotte! I love how the plans can be tweaked here and there to fit the family's likes/dislikes and time/scheduling constraints. We finally had our party on Saturday. Much to my children's delight. :)

Your boy looks very much delighted in that last photo. Too cute!

  2. We're going to have to consolidate the first few weeks into one garden party. We've been so busy! Yet the children love--absolute LOVE--these special teas and so we'll find a time and a way and do a smorgasbord of sorts.

Aren't you proud of me? I'm not letting the perfect become the enemy of the good. :)
