Good Shepherd Garden Party :: Week Three

~The flat on my back edition!

The Heavens Tell
God’s Glory

This garden party was put together and served up by my loving husband. Yes, ladies... he cooks and cleans! He's an amazing guy! I pulled a muscle in my back and that muscle let me know it Saturday morning when I couldn't bend or walk without pain. I spent the day on a heating pad while Husband and the kids did everything for our party. I got up long enough to snap four pictures. That's all.

Rainbow kabobs with whipped cream clouds

Sunshine pizza

Mountain Dew rain and hail

Kite Brownies for the wind. These came prepackaged and very handy!
He didn't want me to take pictures, but I thought it all looked great! Thank you, sweetie for putting everything together so perfectly!

You can see more Week 3 celebrations over at Catholic Cuisine!

  1. He did a wonderful job!! I love the pizza, and those Kite brownies are so cute! The Mountain Dew was a great idea too. I just love all the variations that are possible with these parties. :)

I hope your back gets better quickly!

  2. I think it's fantastic! Kudos to hubby and kids!

I'm so sorry to hear that you hurt your back. That can be SO painful. I did that last year just swapping loads of laundry from one machine to another. I was down for several days and had to see a chiropractor for a few weeks. Prayers for a quick recovery!

  4. You are in my prayers, Charlotte. I did something similar a couple of months ago...I feel your pain. Your husband and family did a beautiful job carrying on the Garden Party! I'm glad he let you snap a few photos. Love those kite brownies:-)

  5. We used the kite brownies too! I thought I was all brilliant and original, but obviously your husband is also just as brilliant, hehe.
