We have another treat waiting for us this evening... thanks to Jamie!
I cut my cake a little differently and used white chocolate shavings instead of coconut for the beard. I also decided to use up some of the leftover M&M's we had from Shortcake's birthday.
Happy St. Nicholas Day!!!
Oh, my gosh! That cake is soo cute! Maybe the St Nicholas cake will become the December Dragon cake and we will be able to see everyone's version of it!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! One of my boys can't stand coconut (which I just don't understand??) so I will have to let him decorate his cupcake this afternoon with white chocolate!! GREAT IDEA!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Feast of St. Nicholas!
I used a veggie peeler to shave my white chocolate. None of my kids like coconut. I can understand. I'm not crazy about the texture, but I love the flavor!
ReplyDeletelooks yummy. how in the world did you have so many red ones??
ReplyDeleteThis time of year you can buy a bag of just red and green M&M's. I had one leftover from the cookies we made this weekend for our family cookie party. I added some from the other leftovers I had.
ReplyDeleteI love the white chocolate idea!! I always pass over recipes with coconut because my kids really don't care for it- but it seems like that one ingredient is always popping up as a necessary accent. Thank you for sharing. :) Your cake turned out spectacular.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO dang cute! How fun!
