A little late to the yarn along train but finding myself suddenly inspired...
Crocheting some flapper style hats for my girls with rose accents.
Shhhhhh... they're a surprise!
I promise I didn't plan the color coordination. I picked this yarn out weeks ago; Naturally Caron Country yarn in Claret.
I really like that color. I can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI really like that color, too. I am sure they will be darling. Can't wait to see the end result =)
ReplyDeleteI am going to check out yarn along. I, too, am late to the game. I started crocheting flapper hats for my girls a month or so ago. I found this great idea to add a ribbon near the brim, then when the girls are not in need of a hat, they can pull the ribbon and it becomes a drawstring purse. My four year old likes the purse more than the hat.
ReplyDeleteInspired when you shared the link last year, my sister made that hat for Bella in a similar shade has been her absolute favorite. Thanks again for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOoooh yes, such a beautiful red! I'd like to make something from such a rich red. Anticipating pictures of your flapper hat. Cheers~
ReplyDeleteFun hats, and so glad you joined in :)
