Happy Feast! Cate and I were talking this morning--EARLY this morning, before everyone got up--and wondering, have we ever done something for Christ and not known it?
As in, really & truly Christ, like the poor man and St. Martin.
And Cate said, "Well, Momma, you feed and clothe Jesus every day!"
Which, of course, as moms we do.
Quick question! We want to make horseshoe cookies today. Do you have a favorite recipe?
What a sweet girl! Isn't it amazing how our children can see things so easily that we in our blindness miss.
OK...this is my favorite basic cookie recipe for either cut out cookies or shaped cookies. It makes a lot, but you can freeze the excess or cut the recipe down. Oh, and I would replace some of the extract with almond.
This year, I'm thinking about trying this recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.
