Plants Paradise
After missing last week's party and seeing how disappointed but understanding my kids were, I was determined not to miss another! So we did this week's party as lunch and the kids were very appreciative.
Here are a few pictures from today.
The flowers were given to the girls for their piano recital. They were mostly daisies, but there was one little yellow rose tucked inside representing for the roses in one of the symbols. We also used the palm tree picks and olive oil crackers but I didn't get a close up shot of those.
Lily sandwiches
Not as pretty as the cream cheese ones Jessica made but my kids have a serious aversion to cream cheese so peanut butter it was.
Fruity Palm Trees
Inspired by Jessica, yet again, I combined our fruit with another representation of the palm tree. The kids liked it although they probably would have preferred apples and grapes to pears and blueberries.
Owl Cupcakes, Leaf and Flower Cookies
It's all lovely as always, Charlotte. I especially love your daughter with her hands together in prayer in your fist pic of the table. :)
ReplyDeleteMy kiddos on the other hand were diving into the food before we had even said "amen". ;)
Everything looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful!! And your fruit palm trees turned out so cute!
ReplyDeleteI had purchased the "stems" for our lily sandwiches after seeing yours in your May Crowning Party, and had to search forEVER to find them for our party this year. I need to stop hiding things from myself! While searching, I finally found the cookies I hid for our St. George Dragon. lol! Oh well!
Anyhow, I am so glad that you were able to enjoy another party with your family! :)
