Texas tried it's best to make him feel at home.
Cookies and muffins, babies and strollers.
We picked flowers...
and hunted for ladybugs. Just like we thought his sisters would.
We cheered (kind of quietly because we had never seen a soccer game live).
He played with determination...
...perseverance...
and spunk.
And then gave us a sweet smile and a "thank you" when it was over.
Thanks for letting us meet you and your dad and for showing us what good sports look like!
How awesome to see him play and witness what a wonderful young man they have raised. I keep hoping for the day they play in Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet friend you are! I just love this post. :) Thanks for sharing!

Oh, how the body of Christ loves each other...
Made my heart spill all happy today...
Bless you all...
All's grace,

What a kind and loving gesture it was for you to cheer Paddy on! I just love this post.
ReplyDeleteI hope I can meet all you wonderful people irl someday, but until then I'll just have to keep getting to know you through your blogs...
(And I'm with Paula - I hope they play in MN someday!)
It was so wonderful to meet you and your family on Tuesday, and to be spoiled by your sweet girls who so naturally looked after our little ones that we could quietly cheer alongside you and Mr. Foss. Ya'll are welcome to come to Granbury ANYTIME to play and learn in 'real learning' style! Thank you and may God bless you all.
