I would love to know if you have any specific plans for opening night. I admit that we are flying by the seat of our pants here. An out-of-town trip got canceled and now I'm trying to throw some ideas together.

We, also, are doing a lapbook and learning the history of the Olympics and will be following our local athletes. We are looking forward to opening ceremonies. I haven't planned anything extraordinary. I thought I might make a torch craft with them and have some USA flags for them to wave. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWe'll definitely be watching along with you. The kids are really excited about the Hockey.
ReplyDeleteAnd in the meantime, I was trying to use up all of our milk and eggs before the Fast begins on Monday and we made these pancakes this morning.
Fluffy is the right word. Yummo!
I decided to try those pancakes this morning too. Very good. However, when doubling the recipe, you really don't need 6 eggs. I used 4 and that was plenty of fluffiness. I also added a dash of salt to the recipe.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to them. Mornings are the time I never plan meals and wind up rushing to make something. It was nice to try a different pancake recipe.
Jordana,
ReplyDeleteMost reviewers over at Allrecipes said they eliminated one of the eggs and the pancakes turned out fine. Thanks for the confirmation!
