St. Brigid's Day

A coloring page for you. In return, I only ask for prayers for Lisa (in the combox) that her sweet little Brigid will be born today or in the next few days. As of yesterday at Mass, her papa said she was still tucked in cozy and warm. Hopefully we'll hear some good news soon!

And don't forget the soda bread!

  1. Printing off this beautiful coloring page for my kids. Thank you so much.

We're going to bake soda bread and try to weave her cross today too. I didn't know where to begin to look for stalks of wheat so I opted for the natural cotton pipe cleaners. Hopefully they'll turn out.

Prayers for your friend and joyous feast of St. Brigid!

  8. Thanks, Charlotte! She's still in there - happy and warm!!!! Maybe she is worried about the 6 more weeks of winter - but we are going mall walking this afternoon to rock those hips and get her moving. Happy feast of the Presentation and Purification, and happy Groundhog Day. Not a bad day for a UD alum to have a baby, even if it isn't her name day...

  10. Thank you Charlotte for your generous heart! Many children's faith formation becomes more tangible with your art work. They can see and understand better who the saints are because of you. As a catechist, my job is to assist in the raising of saints and my job is easier because of you. Thank you and God bless you!
