...pray for us!
The children were surprised to find giant St. Nicks along with their coins this year and some delightful Candy Cane Kisses which I have more to say about later (in short, yum!). St. Nick doesn't leave treats for the grown ups around here, so Husband put this delicious candle (similar to this one) in my shoe. It has a wooden wick that crackles as it burns. So cool! Had to share.

ReplyDeleteNeat candle! Where, oh where, did you find the St. Nicholas'???
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteIf you mean the statue, it is from Joseph's Studio. If you mean the smaller chocolate one, it was made by Lindt with a hat and a crozier added.
OH YUM!!! I totally agree about the Candy Cane Kisses! I have a whole bag (well almost) of them hidden in my closet right now! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy feast of St. Nicholas!
I saw those candles at Marshall's and wondered if the crackling noise would be fun or anxiety-producing... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it!
Very pretty...
I've got that same St. Nicholas statue (it's my favorite!) and I love, love, love woodwick candles! (seeing as we don't have a fireplace, it's the closest I'm going to get to the sounds of a crackling fire...sigh)
