With all of the exciting variations of kisses available this time of year, we decided to try a Christmas version of those addictive Valentines Dots. Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses and Mint Chocolate M & M's. One word... mintylicious!!! I didn't say it was going to be a real word!
One child commented that they could also pass for St. Lucy's eyes because they look a little blood shot. Just thought I'd share in case you go for that sort of thing.

Eeew! I mean yum! We always make those at Christmas with Hugs and they are soo good! But I think we'll pass on the eyeballs :-)
ReplyDeleteThey sound good, but I am with Kim, I'll skip on the eyes.

My first thought was that they look like eyeballs -- many uses for those I think (besides the mintylicious part!).
ReplyDeleteI think those Candy Cane Kisses are fabulous! And what a fun snack idea! I *love* chocolate/mint anything!! I think we will give these a try this year!
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted this time of year for the chocolate/salt combo. I'm extremely interested in the chocolate/salt/mint combo :)
ReplyDeleteeeewww.. I think i'll stick to your mintyilicious.. my favorite is mint anything!
ReplyDeleteThese look soooo yummy, I'm going to have to give them a try!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog. I love it. You have put it together so beautifully. I am going to make the St. Lucy eyes for a class I am presenting on Sunday. I have a blog myself, but can learn a lot from yours in presentation, etc. I plan to follow you regularly.
ReplyDeleteOh, this looks yummy! I've been finding a lot of pretzel recipes lately...going to have to put pretzels on my shopping list so I can try them out!
ReplyDeleteI friend of mine just told me about doing a similar thing using rolos and pecans.
Haha! Love what you said about St. Lucy. Did you happen to catch my St. Lucy eyeball cupcakes on Catholic Cuisine? I totally go for that kind of thing ;-)
