He's a little ruffled from the rain, but here is a Red-tailed Hawk that stopped by to say "howdy". Our house is on a major Red-tailed Hawk Flight Path and when the weather gets a little too stormy or windy, they often times hunker down around here to wait it out. Check out those talons!!!

Wow! Great shots, Charlotte! We never see them so close up, as around here they like to perch waaay high up on the cell phone tower.
