Sick Day

Don't sick days usually follow snow days? Shortcake is down for the count with fever and an upset stomach and I am watching the others like they are ticking time bombs. My mom is on her way and the children are hoping they will get to play with her and not just have her hold a wet cloth to their forehead. So with that, I am signing off for this week to go clean bathrooms and do laundry and get ready to celebrate the birth of Our Lord however He might want me to. Take care and stay warm!

  4. Charlotte. You have such an inspirational blog. Please see my blog www.4my4girls.blogspot.com. My most recent post refers to you...I've gotten so many great ideas for crafts, etc. I have a question...it's technical but maybe you can help me. How do I add some nicer gadgets to my blog? It seems so limited but I'd like to give the background a little bit more decor? Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks so much. God bless you and thanks for such an inspiring blog.

  5. Noooooooooooo! It comes for us all this time of year. I hope shortcake is better soon. Just a few more days and my mom & dad will arrive too. I suspect that they don't mind at all if we're sick ~ God gives them a chance to "mother" us again.

  7. Oh NO!! I hope they will be able to play and have fun with gradma! Seems it always hits about Christmas doesn`t it. And, if your near the East Coast like us this cold snap isn`t help things.

If it consoles you my kids all have super snotty noses to. And, my two year old neice just finished her second round of antibiotics for bronchitis. Nothing worse than being sick for the holidays!!

  8. : ( I know you won't likely be on to read this on time, but know that some little prayers have been said for your kiddos...that they may feel well and full of spirit by now! It's Christmas Eve noonish as I type here, and I am praying they are all better by now!!
