How are you all? Did you notice it's been quiet around here? We are exhausted and recuperating from a whirlwind Thanksgiving weekend in South Texas visiting family, friends and sea creatures. Yep. I said sea creatures. I will have some pictures to share later but for now, I just wanted to check in and say "Hi". We spent Wednesday at Sea World, Thursday at my mom's entertaining the troops and Friday fishing with my dad. Saturday was spent on the road followed by hosting my in-laws for dinner and dessert before they headed back to Alabama. Did I say whirlwind? Uh-huh!!!
But everyone had a great time and we were glad to get to visit with both sides of the family. So, now life is "back to normal" and we are hoping to settle into a nice, quiet Advent. I hope your holiday was exactly as you wanted it to be and I hope your Advent is starting off to be a peaceful one.
