We are back!!!

Thank you to all who noticed our absence and who worried enough to check on us! I didn't want to post about it beforehand, but now I can tell you that we took a little trip to Alabama and have now returned (sans banjos). I have some beautiful pictures to share with you from the Birmingham Zoo, the Casa Maria Retreat Center and the Mississippi Petrified Forest (so glad spell checker counts those s's for me!).

We went to visit Husband's sister who is one of the Sisters that take care of and run the retreat center. Last weekend was her visiting day so we met up with Husband's family in the area, took her out and played with her until she was begging to go back to her nice peaceful convent! Just kidding! I know she enjoyed the time with her parents and siblings and had fun with the nieces and nephews, but like anyone who has found their true vocation, she was happy to get back to her family...her family of Sisters. They truly live like a family and a very joyful one too! What a blessing they are to the world!

So goodbye for now! I have a mountain of laundry to scale and a fridge to clean out. Thanks again for all of your concern. Bye-bye for now!
