I had to read this three times before I got it - we lived in Seoul for 2 years, so I knew right away they were talking about the Han river and I couldn't figure out why it was funny. I bet I'll have to explain it to my husband!
Having worked on a newspaper in high school and then especially after listing to something on This American Life (from National Public Radio), I know how tickled people can get who write on newspapers to slide a title like this in. LOL The segment I listened to on This American Life was about two reports that were having a month long contest (just between them) to see how many times they could put the phrase "raises new and troubling questions" into articles.
