Here comes the rain again, falling on my head like a memory. Falling on my head like a new emotion. I want to walk in the open wind...
The daylilies are loving it. I hope it stops long enough for me to snap some pics up close. These orange ones are my favorite!
This little guy was moving to higher ground.
Our tiny little dwarf nandinas made it into the ground just in time to drown I think. The tag said they were "hardy". I guess we shall see! We planted four of these to help fill the space left empty by the boxwoods. I would have liked something more unusual, but with all of the rain (and relatives coming this weekend) we just wanted to get the giant holes filled before they swallowed up a small woodland creature.

Over here we could use some rain, had a much needed rainstorm a little earlier in the week, and people complained!!!!I don't! Otherwise I am hauling hoses around! I liked the picture of the puddle and the snail the best!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, your house colors are identical to ours.
We're soaked!!

ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I am getting a little tired of the rain, but not too much. My plants on the other hand are loving it!
