They are not fully bloomed yet, but I just couldn't wait!!! There they stand, so straight and proud--- just like the man as I remember him. Their fragrance is heavenly! I could smell it all day and never tire.
I ordered it from this place. They send them in bare root form. We soaked it in water overnight and stuck it in the ground. I seriously can't believe I haven't killed it yet!
Sweet. thanks... we've been looking for one for a while now. I had a big beautiful GRACE rose bush in the front that would only produce one bloom in the front, so I decided to move it to the back with another bush I have that does really well... and unfortunately it didn't survive... so now I'm ready for a replacement.
Hey Matilda, where did you get your JPII roses?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wish I could smell the fragrance of it.
ReplyDeleteWhen the OLG roses go into bloom post pictures...isn't it wonderful to have roses named for Catholic things instead of celebrities!
ReplyDeleteOh silly me, now I see the Guadalupe roses! They are GORGEOUS!
