First potholder made entirely by Sunshine, even the very tricky binding part that she previously always asked mom to do.


First braid made by Shortcake who loves braided hair so long as it is not her own. She is very tender headed! We have taken to keeping her hair cut in a bob to minimize the agony of tangles. She has been asking me to teach her how to braid her dolly's hair. This was her first attempt.


First hearing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory read by Dad which kept them in rapt attention long enough for Mom to create this post.
